TO DECARBOXYLATE OR NOT TO DECARBOXYLATE THAT IS THE QUESTION.

The THCA in cannabis is considered an acid. When you smoke a joint for example or vap your beautiful flower the heat (fire/flame) automatically changes the THCA to a sugar, making it easier for your body to use. This then changes your THCA to THC, awesome hu!
If you are going to ingest your cannabis and want the full psychoactive effects, you need to decarb your flowers (cannabis) before you cook with...make it a sugar instead of an acid.
Making butter, and cookies does not automatically decarb your cannabis.
Note to pastry chef...terpenes are crucial to the flavor of your decarbed flower, if you decarb at a lower heat for longer, you retain more of the terpene..(.I have an article on terpenes further down this page).
1- Grind your cannabis, but don't over do it. To much will lower the potency level.
2- Preheat your oven 310 degrees.
3- Sprinkle your ground cannabis onto a cookie sheet our pie tin. (cover w/ foil)
4- Place in the oven for 10 - 18 minutes...you will smell the terpenes.
5- Remove the sheet/tin and let cool
You cannabis will be light tan in color.

Another note: if you go to far with the decarb, it will reduce the potency of the cannabis.
